    About

    A lamp left on

Lamb & Lamp sets the words of Scripture to quiet, late-night music — the Book of Proverbs, the King James text, one chapter at a time.

It is made for the tired hour. For studying, for resting, for the slow end of a long day. Not a Bible app. Not a performance. Something to sit inside.

    The music

Each track is generated with the help of AI, then set to the King James text. The result is meant to be still, warm, and unhurried.

    The words

The scripture is the King James Version, which is in the public domain. The reflections that accompany each track are written to be short — a few hundred words, meant to be read once, slowly.

    The project

The whole of Proverbs is thirty-one chapters. Setting it to music is the work of many months, released a little at a time. This is a slow project by design. There is no rush to it, and there does not need to be.

    The email list

If you subscribe, we store your email address for one purpose: to send you the weekly devotional. We never sell it, never share it, and never use it for anything else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time. The list is managed through EmailOctopus, which processes the data on our behalf.

    Analytics

We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Umami) to count visits in aggregate — how many people came, which tracks were opened. It uses no cookies and does not identify, track, or profile individual people.

    No accounts, no tracking

There is no login. We do not build a profile on you. Anything the site remembers — your last track, your place in it — is kept only in your own browser, on your own device, and is never sent anywhere.

    Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the email list at any time. You may also write to us to ask that your email address be removed entirely, and we will do so.
